It is June (at least in some of the world), and thus it is time for the June code update

Things have been done, mostly focusing on the FMS and EFB. As part of the EFB2 sprint, large changes to the EFB are being made, including:
New AIRCRAFT CONFIG system, allowing you to manage all the important aircraft loadout features, including the galley, crew and cargo6e2821.gif.403e04e6abe6012ad36c4aa1d8bd925b.gif

New take off calculator, incorporating a variety of new features, such as automatic flap selection for flaps 5, 10, 15, 17, 18 and 20, runway intersection support (for limited airports) and SEL TEMP (ATM) calculation

The EFB errors have gotten a updowngrade too!

and finally, the landing calculator is also making an appearance

hows the fmc coming along? you mention it in your post but only go on to show discuss the efb

The policy for now is to show previews from within X-Plane only (Few exceptions have been made before). The FMC doesn't do anything in X-Plane as of now so there's no preview for it.

can you not discuss what being changed in the fmc? or whats being improved at least, not asking for pictures but would be nice to know what the plan is and what has been implemented, as the fmc and the autopilot is what lacks on this plane, and really lets it down.

It's a completely new FMC designed from the ground up for Boeing aircrafts. It will work like how an actual Boeing FMC is supposed to work. So far we've implemented LNAV calculations which has taken up majority of our time, we are currently working on VNAV calculations (ECON CLB, CRZ, DES, STEP CLBS, etc). Once that is done, we will move on the new autopilot and new navigational display systems. Route pathing seems to be the hardest part of the system we're developing and thankfully we've made a lot of progress on it over the past few months. The current FMC is the default system provided by X-Plane which is meant for the general use case and thus doesn't work as well, hopefully with the new systems we will eliminate most of the problems with the aircraft. I can try to answer specific questions if anyone has them.

Awesome!!! That’s great news!! Take your time, we love the plane! You already did a great job so far! Certainly it will be a great deliver when ready! Thanks for your effort, guys! Keep up the great work!!

Awesome! A bit late to the thread, probably a new code update will be posted soon, but I have just found it.

I am looking forward to the new FMC. This plane will be finally a study level simulation, or as close as most of us need or care :-). I was considering buying it for some time, I think I will pull the trigger soon on it, the FMC is something I was waiting for and I will be very happy to support your development.

Good luck!

Jarek

Do I update to Beta to get these features?  I don't see the performance section either.  It would be great if you detailed the version # with these updates.  Looks like a great product; looking forward to flying soon...
